As you have probably guessed, I’ve been swamped with work. Whether that’s homework or Disney work, I’ve been running helter skelter learning everything there is to know about Disney, and at the same time, trying to remember all I possibly can so that I can make the most out of my internship this semester. It’s been a lot on my sanity (and on my poor feet!).
But now I am back and I have to say, I’ve struggled with coming up with a decent Mickey Mouse Monday post. Between whether to talk about the parks, the rides, the internship itself, or something else related to Disney, I’ve had to think a really long time about where to begin. So, I decided I would take it month by month through the next 4 months so that not only will you lovely readers get to go through it with me, but you will also have my experiences and my knowledge if/when you are a part of the program as well. So, without further ado, here we go!
The first couple of days I wasn’t even close to my location. Instead I had a housing meeting, and then I had Disney Traditions where you really dress to impress (so very business like but not too crazy). During Traditions is when you go to Disney University, and learn all there is to know about Disney World in general, including but not limited to a tour of the Magic Kingdom to get everyone excited for their job and whatnot. It was crazy fun and I had a blast! I also Disneybounded as the Man of the Hour himself, Walt Disney.
Since then, I have been working on my bucket list (in between school and Disney) on stuff to do at Disney before I head back to Texas. This includes eating food at different restaurants:
Now since it’s only been a month, I’m not even close to wrapping up my bucket list yet (which btw if you want to take a look is right here). However, as the months continue to progress, I’ll be able to keep you guys informed and up to date on everything that’s going on.
Also, I’ll be starting an Instagram soon! If you guys can’t get enough of my DCP adventure, then stay tuned for info on my Insta where you’ll see all the magic happening in addition to what’s going on on the blog! In the meantime, hit me up on Facebook, LinkedIn, or the beautiful little Contact button right up on the top of the page.
TTFN! Ta Ta for Now!
